Mommy’s MILF Mission Mondays – Week 4

I would’ve been totally fine without checking in today…

My motivation hit a plateau this week.

I did all of the Tone It Up! workouts, but my nutrition was on par with an unsupervised 6 year old at a birthday party.

Yesterday, the day before my big weigh-in, I thought it would be a good idea to drink 3 glasses of champagne, which led to an Oreo and Goldfish fueled evening.  I had been doing so well!  My damn stomach hurts today after putting that crap in my body when I’ve been eating so clean.

Surprisingly, I still lost 4 inches, even though the scale didn’t go down.  I’m honestly impressed it didn’t go up!  So I’m counting this week as a win.

My knee has really been bothering me lately and it’s definitely feeding my disinterest.  It’s pretty swollen and keeps popping out of place.  I need to go see a doctor.  Blah.  Hopefully it’s nothing serious and I can get back to running.  In the meantime, Chunkz and I are both really perfecting our walking skills.

Dakota weighed two pounds more than me this morning so does anything else even matter?

I took before photos when I started the program, but I haven’t been taking weekly photos. I don’t want to get obsessive, or disappointed in my progress.  I told myself last week I’d make myself take photos today since it’s the half-way point of the Tone It Up! Bikini Series.

I’m actually pretty happy with my progress.

It’s mostly a mental game, and has taken very little physical effort to see these results.  Yes, I probably workout at least an hour a day, but I do a lot of useless things in my life for an hour daily as well.  If I feel like being lazy, I remind myself that the time is going to pass anyway, so where do I want to be when it does?

Gotta whip my nutrition into shape and I’ll really be on a roll.
